Child Safety Standards
VISO, operated by Orango Pte. Ltd., has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion and any sexualisation of minors. These standards apply to VISO and VISO Lite.
1. Adults only
- VISO is only for people aged 18 and over. Users must confirm their age when signing up, and the apps are rated for adults in the app stores.
- We use profile review, real-person verification, automated signals and user reports to identify accounts that may belong to minors, and we close them.
2. What is prohibited
- Any content that depicts, promotes or normalises the sexual abuse or exploitation of minors, real or fictional, including drawings and AI-generated material.
- Grooming, sexual conversations with or about minors, requesting images from minors, sextortion, and trafficking.
- Sharing, requesting or linking to CSAM, or directing anyone to places where it can be found.
- Any attempt to contact, meet or exploit a minor through VISO.
3. How we detect and prevent abuse
- Automated analysis of profile images, posts, messages and periodic samples of live video, combined with review by trained moderators.
- Real-person verification to reduce fake and impersonating accounts.
- Device- and account-level bans so removed users cannot simply return.
- Regular training for our moderation team and review of these standards.
4. What we do when we find it
- We remove the content immediately and permanently ban the accounts involved.
- We preserve the relevant evidence as required by law and report apparent CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or to the relevant national authorities, and we cooperate with law enforcement.
5. How to report
- In the app: open the user's profile, chat or room, tap the menu and choose Report. Reports involving minors are prioritised.
- By email: contact@visohq.com with the subject "Child safety", including the VISO ID of the account and what you saw. Do not attach or forward illegal images.
- If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police first.
6. Child safety contact
Our designated point of contact for child safety matters, including requests from authorities, is reachable at contact@visohq.com. We comply with applicable child safety laws in the countries where VISO is available.
